I am so excited for the upcoming holidays. I just love this time of year. We will be going Sunday to get our tree. I know it's early but this is the only day we could all arrange our schedule and do it as a family. We go to a local tree farm and pick out our Christmas tree. They are having an open house on Sunday as well so this was perfect!
You arrive and the first thing you see is Mr. & Mrs. Claus's house. You can go inside and it's a little gift shop. They have reindeer you can feed, hot chocolate, and everything else that is Christmas. If you can't find a tree you like at the front of the property they will gladly load you up and take you to the large lots filled with trees, give you a handsaw, and you pick out your tree and cut it yourself. This is what I love to do. After you pick out the tree, you take it and they shake it, and shake it, and shake it, (I think you get my point) and then wrap it all up for you to take home.
I will take pictures, and I am hoping to do a live broadcast so you can see what a beautiful place it is. I am going to get started on my "HELLO DECEMBER" album. If you haven't signed up for this class/event you won't want to miss it.
