Colorful Seasons

Hi Friends,

When I pulled this stamp set from my shelf I knew right away what I was going to make. I leave in 3 weeks to go on vacation and I am going to be on the beach EVERY DAY!

I close my eyes and I see myself in that cute little chair with an ice cold lemonade by my side!

I love to sponge and use different colors to make a dramatic card.  I get so excited to watch the card come to life with all the colors coming together.

I used Daffodil Delight and Peekaboo Peach to create the beautiful sun.  I then used Soft Sky to create the water.  I finally pulled in Sahara Sand to make what else, the sand!

I stamped the chair base using Basic Black and then added a little bit of WOW with Wild Wasbi.  Can you see my little cup of lemonade by my chair?  I used Daffodil Delight again for this.

I am not posting the supply list like I normally do since the stamp set is not available until June 1, 2017.  If you want to purchase this stamp set or any of the other supplies you can shop in my online store 24/7.

Feathery Friends Card

Hi Friends,

This is one of my favorite stamp sets in the new catalog.  I am also a little obsessed with the new In Color, Lemon Lime Twist.  I love the Night of Navy paired with the Lemon Lime Twist.

How stinking cute is that little bird?  I'm in love!  This is a hostess set in the new catalog.  You can either hold an event, schedule a class, etc. or simply order $150.00 in my online store and use your hostess rewards to get this stamp set.

I gave you two options on this card.  The first one is to simply stamp the little bird in Night of Navy and leave it like that.  The second option is to color in the little guy using your blender pen.  You could also use the Stampin Write Markers, Aqua painters, etc.

I will not be able to post a supply list as usual.  The new catalog is not available until June 1st so I do not have images I am allowed to share at this time.

I hope you all get this cute stamp set and have as much fun making your cards as I did making this one.

Mothers Day Gift for My Step-Mom

Hi Friends,

I wanted to share the gift I made for my step-mother for Mothers day.  I bought her two Yankee Candles and wanted to make my own holder for them.

I was searching some ideas when this cute little bag popped on my screen.  I have never seen videos,or Pinterest posting of these cute little bags.  Where have they been hiding all my life????

They are super easy to make and takes no time at all.  All you need is two pieces of 12X12 DSP.  I used two pieces of the Floral Boutique DSP pack.  You will need your standard crafting supplies, glue, snips, etc.

I plan on doing a video to show you all how easy this was to make.  I also used the same DSP, Floral Boutique,  to make her card.  This was one of my favorite stamp sets and DSP packs in last years catalog.

My step mother collects chickens and Cocoa Cola nick nacks, so I made her a few notecards using the new stamp set, Wood Words.  I made the little crate and put in 6 of the 3X3 cards I stamped.  I just wrapped it in cellphone and tied a piece of linen thread around the top.  Make sure you keep an eye on my YouTube channel for the upcoming video.

April Customer Thank You Cards

Hi Friends,

I wanted to share with you the card I made and sent to all my customers in April.  When my customers purchase Stampin' Up! products in my online store, or take one of my online classes, I always send them a "Thank You" card made by me!

This is the design I came up with for April.  I love the Pool Party with the Whisper White.  I think this card would be so beautiful as a wedding card.  It would, of course need a little sprucing up!

My customers are so very important to me.  I feel like I know them, and we are friends.  They e-mail such nice encouraging words, nice compliments, or just check in to say a quick hello.

I love papering them and showing them just how much they mean to me.  There is a lot of hard work that goes into running your own business.  Designing the cards, planning classes, making videos, hosting local events, well I think you get the picture.  I would not be able to do this without the support of my customers.

I started out with by choosing my color combination and then just went from there.  I knew in my head how I wanted it to look.  Well, it didn't look so nice with the Whisper White heart on top of plain Whisper White cardstock.  Thats when I decided to use one of my favorite embossing folders, Petal Burst.  I love, love, love this embossing folder.

I finished it off by adding the Pool Party ribbon.  This ribbon is no longer available.  I had not used it much so took the opportunity to use it on this card.  It's so beautiful, I could not help myself.

Happy Mothers Day (late)

Hi Friends,

Sorry I am late making my Mothers Day  post.  I spent Sunday with my family and it slipped my mind to make a post.

I just want to say I hope you all had a very lovely Mothers day spent with your family.  My two son's came to our house and brought their young ladies with them.

I am so blessed to have two young men I get to call my son's.  My two boy's are my whole world.  I am so blessed to have them.  I had quite a struggle to become pregnant and truly thank God that even was able to have children.

My mother passed away in 2005 so Mothers day is always a bit sad for me.  I remember her and will always cherish my time I had with her.

Thank you all so much for being a part of my life, sharing your life with me, and especially let me share my life, thoughts, happiness, sadness, trials, & my crafting with you.

2017 Graduation Card for Lexie

Hi Friends,

My niece that lives in another state is graduating in a few short weeks.  I can't believe it is even possible!! It seems like only yesterday she was born.

She is a very special young lady.  In a sport where men usually dominate, she has proven herself to be at the top in all of her competitions.

This young lady is a role model to say the least.  She goes to church every Sunday, teaches the younger kids at church, and is not afraid to stand up for her values, and live her life in such a manner to please  our Lord and Savior!  Way to go Lexie.

She is such a beautiful young lady and I am so happy to be her aunt.  We don't get to see each other very often since we live in different states.  We keep in touch on Facebook.  She just went to her prom and was just stunning!

I know that what ever path she decides to take in life she will be a success and conquer it like the strong, determined woman she is.

I made this graduation card and gift card holder to send her for her graduation present.  I am so amused, as I set out to create this card, I found myself going into my retiring or discontinued items I had packed away.

Lexie's school colors are red, white, and black.  I  used the retiring stamp set, BYOP.  I might just have to hang on to this stamp set!  I pulled out my Halloween stash and used the tassels that we had in last years  holiday catalog.  I am so glad I keep my Stampin' Up! products after they are no longer available.

Working from Work

Hi Friends,

I have been working the last 2 days.  As many of you know my work day is 12 hours!!!! I work from 7:00pm to 7:00am.  I am very lucky that I get great breaks.  I get 5 half hour breaks during my 12 hour shift.

Last night I took my goodies that I am putting together in your new catalog package.  I worked on them and was so happy to feel like I was getting something accomplished.  I am taking what I didn't get done last night, and hope to finish them tonight.

I might have them done and mail them out a bit earlier then I had planned.  I love what I do and love sharing with you all.  I love treating my customers with these little extras throughout the year.

I hope you all are having a great week.  Enjoy your upcoming weekend.  I Saturday is my last day and then I will have 3 days off!!! Yay :)

Falling Flowers Card

Hi Friends,

I have a super cute card for you today.  I just love how simple and easy this card is.  I love this stamp set!  It is one of my favorites.

When I started this card I wanted to use the DSP Blooms & Bliss.  It was one of my favorites in the annual catalog.  I incorporated it behind the piece of Whisper White card stock that I stamped the sentiment on, as well as using it to create the two flowers.

I used the flourish stamp to create the beautiful background.

I just love the sentiment.  How many people do we have in our lives that make us simply smile when we think of them?  I am blessed to have a huge family and a very lovely circle of friends.  Each and everyone of them puts a smile on my face when I think of them!

The Perfect White Accents just added that special pop in the center of the flowers.  I used dimesionals in the center of the flowers to adhere them to the card. This also worked great to adhere the Perfect White Accents in the center of the flowers.
