September Free Card Packet Card #3

Hi Friends,

Here is the video for card #3 in my September free card packets.

I decided to do something a little different with this card.  Instead of using the normal colors for the gourd and leaf, I decided to do a monochromatic look.

This stamp set is such an amazing set.  The images are so realistic when you stamp them in ink that would be a realistic color for the images.  The pumpkins look like a photo instead of a stamped image.

I hope you enjoy Septembers cards, and I look forward to making more great fall cards.

September Free Card Packet Card #2

Hi Friends,

This is card 2 in my September Free Card Packet offer.  Love all the Fall colors.

If you want to know how you can receive your free card packets every month, just click the link on the menu, "Free Card Packets".

I have added all the markers that Stampin' Up! offers that would work for this card in my supply list below.  Your best bang for your buck would be to purchase them all!  I understand you might not to spend that much money at once, so I added the smaller packs for you to choose from.  I used a few in each of the regals, brights, and neutrals color packs, so I'll let you decide which of these packs work best for you.

I did not use the framelits that come with this beautiful stamp set, so I am adding the stamp set only option & the bundle option in the supply list.

Cracked Glass Technique Card

Hi Friends,

I just love when I stumble upon a new technique I have never tried before.  It's always so exciting to see what the finished product will look like.

This technique is called cracked glass. It's so pretty when it's finished and really does look like glass.  I will warn you now, this technique does take patience and a lot of Versa Mark and Clear Embossing Powder.

I had to do about 8-10 layers before it would crack.  You have to put it in the freezer for about 2-5 minutes and then it should crack for you.  If it does not crack, just add some more Versa Mark and embossing powder layers.  Put it back in the freezer and try again.
